Ah well - the behaviour of their fans means I have no sympathy. Hopefully Celtic will follow them into admin.

Think the BBC article is a little OTT even if there crowds drop to 20,000 a week the garuntee of European football means they will still have a bigger foot on most there rivals apart from Celtic.

The annual shortfall between money coming into Rangers and the club's expenditure is about 10m. If crowds drop, that amount increases, unless of course Rangers employ cheaper players, in which case they can't guarantee finishing high enough for European football. Then crowds drop further....

In recent seasons both Old Firm clubs seem to be signing cheaper players Celtic case being Gary Hooper, Rangers going for James Beattie and El Hadji Diouf and having to sell any decent player they both get. Still think anyone with a bit cash could buy someone like Abderdeen, Hibs with a squad of lower league English players or Prem players on loan could compete with the Old Firm.

I still think if Hearts chairman had not interefered to much when George Burley was in charge that team could of won the SPL that season.

The SFA will get downgraded in terms of number and starting point of European places if they carry on going downhill.

But that's a worry for another time.
