lancy lad
depends if you are happy to settle with a team that is inconsistant, doesn't score enough goals, and limps towards the end of the season. I am, its my team! Are you not?

MaskedOwl
Then you should expect inconsistency, not scoring enough goals and limping the season out! if that is what latics fans should expect then it is no wonder the attendance is decreasing every season. i pay to be entertained and expect commitment from players. To be fair, I see commitment week in week out at Boundary Park. On the whole, it is entertaining, moreso that when Penney was in charge on all counts. Yet the crowds still drop. And when it doesn't quite happen .... well, have you never had a day at work when you can't quite be arsed? Or it all goes tits up when you can be arsed? Not on over £1,000 - £2,000 for 90 or 180 minutes a week. ok for one,two or even three to have an off day I understand, but more than that I would be looking at the management structure. Money has absolutely feck all to do with it, footballers are human beings not robots they will make mistakes. Or have bad days despite doing absolutely nothing wrong. We were playing a team in the playoff places away from home without our two best midfielders, a striker who is woefully out of form, with a team that travelled down the same day meaning leaving at 7 summat in the morning (for the Oldham based ones). Also beating Franchise at home means that we were guaranteed better results against them than last season despite the standard of both teams being roughly comparable.
