Something to do with stadium possibly?
Does seem strange for Sunday afternoon..
Could be anything really, manager, investment, blasting the players (publicly said he wasn't happy with them or something like that after Chesterfield I think?)..

I doubt it'll be anything much. Comments on yesterdays game, general club stuff, losing money, stadium matters are progressing but nothing concrete to announce.

Rich Arabs, buoyed by the 6,000 Liverpool tickets selling out in 3 minutes, and last season 8,000+ crowd v Carlisle, are to invest 20m in the club to redevelop the stadium and improve the playing staff and training facilities, in the hope of building a sustainable and profitable Championship side attracting crowds of 15,000 week in week out.

An additional 50m endowment fund will generate an income of 1.5m a year, increasing annually by 5%, to be split between faciltiies maintenance and player investment, on top of any other income generated by the club.

Then I woke up.

Jimmy Wagg says Jack Dearden will be talking to Corney about the Dickov situation regarding the job at Huddersfield.

- Had no official approach from Huddersfield.
- Corney wants to hang on to him - would offer him a 5 year contract if he could.
- Dickov destined to bigger and better things than Latics, with all respect to Corney's own club.

I didn't really get what he mean by that - it was a bit off the cuff. I think he was just trying to emphasise his desire to keep hold of him...
