Great to see them on tv and doing well. Followed them when I lived in Madrid in the 80's. Would love a pre-season game over there.

Only 3 points off fourth now, and level with Bilbao/above Atletico. Very impressive, considering the amount of money Atletico spent in the summer. I'm no expert on their squad, but I know Tamudo, Movilla and Michu are all handy players.

My toughest opponent? Colbeck of Oldham. He is the complete midfielder.
Zinedine Zidane
I’m not the best, Joe Colbeck is.
Edgar Davids
Colbeck had the best football brain I’d ever seen in a kid. Let’s face it. Joe Colbeck is in a class of his own.
Brian Kidd
“If you’re in the penalty area and don’t know what to do with the ball, give it to Colbeck and we’ll discuss the options later.”

Went to a game last season and fans demonstrating against owner. Apparently not a very patient woman who was threatening to withhold player payments even though 2nd and more or less sure Of promotion. Lost a couple Of games. Think there were some financial issues at start Of this season so team has done really well with loan players. Three sided ground as well, so Tics can feel at home!
