oafcprozac
Got an external hard drive that gave up the ghost some years ago when I dropped it. It's been in the attic for a few years but would like to see if I could get the photos etc retrieved off it if possible. Any decent, cheap, reliable local firms anyone can recommend? opinions4u
No idea if these fit the bill. I'll let you be the judge. http://www.spendandraise.com/xtra/shop/productlist.php?q=Data+recovery&search=Search&rb=
Matt
Do it yourself. It's piss. Sometimes it's just the enclosure, take it out of it's case and hook it up in your PC as an extra SATA / IDE or easier still get an USB to SATA IDE hard drive adapter for about a tenner. >>LINKY<<
opinions4u
Did exactly this last week bought http://www.amazon.co.uk/IOMAX-SATA-Adapter-Power-Drive/dp/B001A5SK56 off Amazon got it next day took less than 5 mins to sort plus it does other drives if needed. Rummy spot on it really is easy. Didn't get the commission through on PlayerShare WebShop ...

Stevie_J
Didn't get the commission through on PlayerShare WebShop ... Are you now outing people for not using it?!
opinions4u
Are you now outing people for not using it?! More a tongue in cheek guilt trip. That 21p could be the difference between automatic promotion and play-offs next season! Edited May 13, 2012 by opinions4u
opinions4u
lol perhaps you should remind me again how to use the excellent facility. Forgive me for I have sinned. Go to www.spendandraise.com/xtra. Add it to your favourites and / or make it your home page. Go to RETAILER A to Z and find your preferred retailer - in this case Amazon. Click through to the retailer and shop as usual. (nice set up!)
