TheBlueFlag
Are you trying to clear browser cache (Internet explorer, firefox, chrome, opera...) or are you trying to clear cache of your computer (program files...) ??
singe
When it's said clear your cache. What does it mean and how do you do it? In laymans terms If its your browser, then all it does is clear all the behind the scenes links to you computer, ie that lets you go straight to OWTB. What sometimes happens is, say you get to the OWTB site and the server is down, sometimes it keeps that page adn every time to try yo connect to OWTB, it goes to the "We are having a temporary fault" type page even though OWTB is back up So clearing the cache will delete the link to that page that is over riding your access. Its not dangerous or anytihng and can clear out dodgy stuff too. It also slows things up, so can make your access much slower as it tries and searches through allt hat junk When you actually clear your cache a little indicator is how long it takes to do it. If it s a whiel you shoudl notice a not insigificant difference To do this go to Internet Explorer Tools Internet Options (shortened to options when described in case you have a different Broweser bit the same thing) Browsing History ( half way down) And its the temporary Internet Files, but yo u d need to do the coooies etc Hope it helps, any more queries just shout YOu shoudl celar paswords to , so that means you have to log into OWTB for example again, but then it will remember again Just a bit safer
