Offers little meetings with people who question things. That and starts arguments with children who slag David mellor off. People are right to question the building of this stand because it's been a bit of a joke really. From the research and budgeting that's gone into it. The delays. I think a lot of the frustration amongst fans recently, regarding various subjects at the club, is the lack of communication. I know we can't be privy to all the goings on at BP, but the new stand for example, is of great interest to all the fans ( we've waited so long for something positive like this ) I think it's understandable that people are craving information. Corney needs some good PR, we cant afford a decent forward so some cladding will do. I'd be amazed if construction doesn't grind back to a halt again. Maybe the cladding was delayed because of the terrible weather we've had since the turn of the year making it impossible to lift them into position. Why does everybody keep quoting Fleetwood when they have a wealthy chairman happy to keep pumping money into the club. Have you been to Port Vale recently? Agreed Kieran, he and his wife own a small amount of non voting shares in the Company building the stand-at least I think it is that Company building the Stand but as it is late in filing its Accounts at Companies House-we really do not know! Because he and his brother are Oldham Athletic fans through and through, their company is constructing the stand on terms that no other company would entertain. Yes there have apparently been problems (I know not what) but they won't be of the Whitehead's making. Paul and his brother, are continuing their association with the club that was started by their father - another gentleman who's word was his bond. I'd always got on very well with him until relatively recently and I don't for one minute imagine he's doing anything other than the best he can for the club in terms of the stand.
