oafc_lover Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 Been sacked by Port Vale with immediate effect after a training ground bust up left their captain, Doug Loft, with a broken nose, jaw AND cheek bone and facing permanent disfigurement. the_mighty_bosh Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 For a player who was as tall, broad shouldered, quick and left footed (good crosser of the ball iirc) as he was, there was to be some clear deficiency for him not to be playing above League 1. Seems like temperament or what goes on between his ears is his. Although he was always a left winger rather than a left back as his positional sense was woeful.
