Lockwood staying

But didn't he sign from Guisley or someone like that?

Can't be good enough. Desperation! ;)

Guy's been immense in the last few weeks and his partnership with Wilson has seen us concede less and less, this guy is what our defence has been crying out for for ages. A decent striker and keeping Harkins and Worrall will have us laughing next season

According to this http://www.oldham-chronicle.co.uk/news-features/10/oldham-athletic-news/85476/deal-dilemmas-for-latics-boss we've got an option on Wilson for another season. Don't know if that's in our favour or not, but they usually are and by my understanding we are paying Wilson a bit less than standard due to the issues and his contract at Bristol City.

I'm an honest guy and it's safe to say that Adam Lockwood has well and truly put me in my place.....a must for next season, would be happy for us to start the season with the current back for

I think a lot of credit must go to Johnson here too - he seems to know how to organise a defence and, even mOre importantly for us, to organise a cheap defence.

You don't notice them like you used to under Dickov. They're not world beaters but none of them ever seem to have a nightmare, unlike M'Voto or Hazell or even Tarkowski could at times.

To be fair, Hazel made more errors as he reached the end of his career in L1. He had long periods of being a consistent rock at the back - seems he is unfairly remembered for his decline in his final season with us than for his true contribution.
