I would like to sign chris Weale from Shrewsbury been a very good keeper at this level and is there best player. Out of contract as well

Good keeper, great bloke too, LJ knows him well from Yeovil so I can see that happening.

I've voted to keep Chubs as No1, but that's simply because there isn't an option to keep him as back up until we know that another keeper's coming in. He's certainly got the experience and, for my money, we've look more solid with him in place of Oxley.

It all depends on who comes in as I don't see us going with just him and Coleman next season. Simpson, I reckon, has already gone so there's no point in expecting him to stay and Coleman hasn't got the experience to be No1.

How old is Rachubka? Was really decent last year and given the life expectancy of a goalkeeper these days, he could make the position of his for a few years. Unless he fancies having a go abroad, he's got his feet under the table and it'd make sense for him to see his career out with us.

He's 33, so a good few years left in him yet. Excellent keeper at this level IMO.

I thought he was older than that. Agreed, if he keeps homself fit and stays injury free, he could have (hopefully) a good few seasons with us. No doubt he'd have been off if Oxley had stayed and he'd not got a look in he'd have been off. Must've been a bit demoralising for the majority of last season (sat on the bench in his twilight years) but no doubt the last 15 games or so picked him right up.

My brother has just bumped into Rachubka at Manchester Airport. He told him that he's been messed around by the club and will be signing for Kilmarnock.

It's this sort of information that makes the interwebs dead good. Assuming it's true.

According to the Rarely Wrong, didn't Rachubka fly out a few days ago?
