petelatics
Some time ago, someone on here did some hard work to find out who owned the new stand (Brass Bank Ltd - owned by Gazal and Blittz) and also revealed that Corney was a director of PCW Developments. He stated that Paul and Christine Whitehead and Gazal and Blitz were also on the board of this company. The Whitehead's are also directors of Holroy Developments, contracted to build the new stand. Just looked at PCW Developments, and they have moved from a company with assets of over a £1m pounds to having liabilities of £1.1m to being dissolved. Wonder if this has any implications for Latics positive or negative!
WIZZO83
That was me, seems very strange to me, also very strange that the club has never released any financial information until last week in the chron. I believe someone is trying to cover up some tracks
Twisbrogan
Where have you seen reference to any dissolution? Not seen it on any of the company data systems I refer to. The was a company with a similar name from Merseyside (but different company number) dissolved in 2009 but nothing to do with those just putting the finishing touches to our new stand. I get the same as Twis when searching Companies House - completely different company. The construction company established in 2009 is still active. Next please... I believe someone is trying to cover up some tracks Er, you seem to be referring to the article where the financial figures that legally have to be provided and came from the accounts at Companies House. They were not "released" by the cl;ub at all. They are and always were available for all to see. And you seem to forget [conveneiently] when LAtics and England were welcomed with open arms to inspect the books.

The 'information that was released' had been submitted to Companies House a couple of weeks before. The Chron were made aware of it last week and decided to do a little article on it as there probably wasn't much else happening.
