Switched this on again for the 1st time in a year. Still hard to believe.

You look at where most of that Liverpool team is now and where ours from that day is (only Winchester and Mellor still on our books) and it makes it even harder to believe.

Happy days, hoping this squad will do better

City at home is still my favourite scalp. It injected a real shot of life into the club following the events of the summer and Dowie leaving not long before. We were no hopers going into that game.

I'd say Everton away in 2008 ranks above it because we had about 6 players missing and despite building up a good away run I thought we had no chance. I saw it as a day out and it turned out to be a real hard earned victory, half time was a giant party after Macca's out of the blue strike, then we dogged out the win despite 45 minutes off having our backs against the wall.

Liverpool was brilliant though. Gutted I gave away my ticket for Everton in the next round, I watched it in the pub and it felt like we'd won the cup with that equaliser.

Liverpool at home topped both those results tbh for me. What a magical night it was.

Everton 2-2 for me.

It evoked memories of 89-90

A ridiculous result v Liverpool, no right to get anything from Everton aswell surely?, don't be greedy, oh :censored: a last gasp equaliser, I've been here before.......
