Chaddy_Ender
Can anybody recommend an away fan friendly boozer in Colchester, have a 49 seater arriving around 12.30 and we are looking for a decent watering hole on the way into the ground. 24hoursfromtulsehill
The Bricklayers is the OASIS pub. Go find somewhere else. Just kidding. It might be best all round to give the landlord advance warning - there's normally about 49 Oldham fans in total for Colchester away, and only about 5 solid drinkers among 'em. OldhamSheridan
Ah, Colchester. I wouldn't know of any of the pubs really, other than The Odd One Out. Proper pints in there*. No reason to go anywhere else. Was a little while ago, but I'm led to believe nothing has changed. *though no mobile use or swearing allowed. 24hoursfromtulsehill
*though no mobile use or swearing allowed. A bit like OWTB in the old days. CAMRA says it has wifi, so all the techno heads can share pictures of their pints on the interwebs rather than get on with drinkin' 'em. It's even further from the ground than the Bricklayers, so you'll have to set off from there at about 1 if you want to just miss kick-off.
