Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have had 7-8 bits of pernicious software auto launched. In the past 3 or 4 days

I also have lots of pop ups into new tabs,( I have pop block activated) to the extent I now have it set to high cntrl release only.

The latest session on owtb was replaced on start up to

http://revocabas.bataehclub.com:2578/gech4zxsv1.php

I am get pop ups blocked all the time but some are getting through. And some auto audio no image and some dodgy sits recoememnding fixing registry.

Obviously it might not be OWTB, any suggestions?

Just me?

There are a lot of 'hidden installs' these days, search/browser hijacks and general malware that lurks in the 'advanced' sections of installations.

Be careful what you tick or untick, read the install screens carefully, and always check the advance install options just in case.

Anyway....

Use freeware RUNKILL http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/dl/11/

Download and the install free version of Malwarebytes, run and clean. https://www.malwarebytes.org/

Download and install the free version of Spybot, run and clean.http://www.safer-networking.org/

Bear with the process, it may take ages for these to complete the first time these programs run.

Restart PC.

Let me know if that does the trick, I have other stuff that'll clean PC's filthier than a football teams' message board.
