Jobs for the boys

This was always going to be the case with a young manager...having played maybe 5 or 6 clubs throughout his career, he was bound to be familiar with a hell of a lot of players, most of which are still playing now. I for one, would much prefer him to sign people that he is already familiar with and knows what he is going to get, as opposed to someone signed off the back of a video or two!

 

This "Jobs for the boys" comment never comes out with an older manager as all his "boys" will have retired and working elsewhere. No-one seems to kick up a fuss when a manager hires someone he knows as a coach or assistant.

Did you use this site (or jklatics) when Ronnie Moore was in charge?!
