Malky Mackay

IF true, he will have to work abroad. I can't imagine who in this country would want to touch him. Not that I'd expect many foreign clubs to want him, but the news is never as prominent from another country.

If clubs take on convicted killers and rapists, it'd seem harsh for someone who's sent a few dubious texts to fall foul of morality in football. Obviously a bit of a prick but as for The Mail getting on their high horse!...

Nazi salute picture used an all!

Solskjaer should watch his back, Vincent Tan is clearly not the type of owner you want to cross. Cardiff have had these (private)texts since the beginning of the year (allegedly) and the only just release them now just before Malkay was lined up to take the palace job.

Didn't Tan cite unauthorised transfers as why he sacked him? If he's had his hand in the till you can't blame him for going to town on the bloke

The argument is that they had only 2 days left before the FA would no longer have accepted evidence on something (must be an arbitrary statute of limitations they set). Don't get me wrong, I think you point is still incredibly valid, but there is possibly an ever so slightly more innocent angle.

8 months, since he got fired. I'm not as au fait currently with the specifics of employment law as I have been in the past but if he put his unfair dismissal claim in 2 months after being sacked, which is quite likely as you have 90 days to do so, then they may have another 6 months from that to supply evidence as to why his sacking was legitimate. Hence 8 months. The fact that Makay was going for the Palace job, and was almost certain to get it at the time is a bit more of a coincidence but that doesn't make the coincidence sinister.

Tan was looking to get rid of him from early on in their short year in the Prem and got vilified for it, perhaps after keeping all his cards quiet and enduring abuse for it; he has got the nuts as his hand.
