4froale
So we can't afford a striker but we can afford him, doubt it.
oafc1955
Rachubka on his way?........it took him a long time to sign his deal and apparently had offers from abroad. I think that's the only reason why we could be interested in Kenny other than that it's baffling. Micah money perhaps?
opinions4u
As the defence can't be arsed clearing the ball I think it's important that we play two goalkeepers to reduce the chances of the ball ending up in our net.
bigfatjoe1
At 36, and coming from West Yorkshire, i think he'll be happy to settle for us. Has the No.17 shirt been taken?

I'd imagine Paddy would go in as number one and Paul go back to his old role of second choice and keeper coach

The ex-youth keeper is someone called Anthony White; who is also covering the fitness coach role, as I believe he's done a uni degree in something appropriate for it. Nohairdontcare
Has anyone seen the pics of him at Leeds pre-season? He would definitely be our biggest ever signing anyway - any bigger and no team will squeeze the ball past him. And on that subject - didn't LJ have a pop at fitness levels when he arrived at BP? Seems to me that signing unfit players is the norm now. How many times to we hear or read here that a particular player will be great once they reach full fitness? Anyway, Kenny would definitely be a massive signing for us.

TheBigDog
'Do keepers really need to be fit?' I refer you to Andy Goram's 4 game loan appearance for us..
Nohairdontcare
Do keepers really need to be fit? Well I'd rather if they vaguely resembled sport professionals.

TheBigDog
Cardiff at home - worst goalkeeping performance ever in a Latics shirt
Wozzer
Cardiff at home - worst goalkeeping performance ever in a Latics shirt To be fair to Goram he was also responsible for some of the best.
owdumer
I watched Goram all through his Latics career,I always knew he would play at the top level. However the old adage that you shouldn't go back (especially after so many years and so many lbs) was never better demonstrated. Postman Matt
Was he sober for that game if i recall he fell over when making his way towards the net just before kick off much to the amusement of the chaddy end. Boys in Blue
We know that Chubs is good enough based on last 10games of last year. Really don't think this is a priority. If Rachubka wants to go, fair enough. But I don't think he is the problem looking at chances missed at weekend. Would rather money was spent elsewhere
