She rummages around in a drawer and produces two copies of a picture showing her stood with Lee Johnson, both smiling...and he has his arm around her shoulder. "You kept that quiet" I said, "Is he your new fella?" "No, it's that Lee Ronson, the owner of Latics" she exclaimed "He was in Spindles." I had to laugh and tell her who he really was. Anyway, two pics are winging their way abroad so that they can proudly sit on the mantlepiece of my daughters' homes. Actually, at 91 years old, put a Latics shirt on her and she could be the elusive 25-goal striker the Latics have been looking for. Mothers! Who'd ave 'em??
