Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to go to Union's ground earlier this year when I was in Berlin. Managed to watch a non-league game though which was a great experience and I was blown away by Hertha's stadium. Great culture of football. Our annual trip takes us to Frankfurt next Easter but Eintract are away at Bayern Munich unfortunately. Will be local lower league games instead. If it's the full tourist experience you want then Gelsenkirchen is best avoided - if it's just to get wellied and watch football in a city that lives and breathes for their team then get yourself over there!
