Schlieb
That looks like Oldhams line up to me ;-) Edited October 11, 2014 by Schlieb
oldhamoafc
It was more a 4-3-1-

maddog
We thought it looked a bit 2-6-
slystallone
It was more a 4-3-1-2 Yep, Jones and Winchester were narrow, and Kelly sat in the holding role. Think it was a 3 man midfield with Philly in front of them. Whatever it was though, it worked!
whitey1980
I think it became more of a diamond 4-4-2. Kelly sat at the base often splitting the centre backs which allowed both full backs to push on and balance the midfield. Winchester and Jones had space centrally with Philliskirk linking to the front men. In truth though, the movement in the first half allowed any of the 4 in the midfield to press on and they all showed a willingness to fill in to retain the shape of the team when others did so!! LaticsPete
There's a flexibility about the team that gives us options - second half for the first half hour Jones played almost as wide left side midfielder , then moved across in to the middle after Dayton came on
