HarryBosch
I think there's a certain element of truth to that. It requires a sustained period of success to build a fan base up beyond its "die-hards". If we were to do well for a few years there'd be a few lapsed fans return, and we might get some younger fans turning up as well, maybe even some people who are a bit on the fence when it comes to football might show up to see what's going on down the road. Barry, you've dropped a bollock here. Over the years I've known numerous people who I've learned had season tickets when we were in the top flight that I had no idea even liked football, let alone went. Ackey
You know what? :censored: this. I am locking this thread (yes I know it's me and I do that all the time). This team, no matter how fleeting, is on a :censored:ing great run and we're about to play top of the league in a sell out game with a chance to launch ourselves back in to the top six! I am not letting Barry's :censored:ing stupid comments ruin that for us. We've earned, through years of dross, the right to enjoy this time no matter how brief! You want to restart the thread - I will not stop you. But I really would implore you to think first about what that means.
