LaticsPete
The site enfa.co.uk is possibly the answer to questions like this.... "The National Football Archive is a complete database of English Football League and Premier League clubs from the 1888-89 season to the present day. It includes match-by-match line-ups, goal scorers, and a complete player database to ensure that every player is uniquely identified. The database currently includes 425,173 line-ups, 619,135 goal scorers and 42,161 players in 32 competitions. The criterion for entry is that games are played by clubs who are members of the Football League or Premier League in the season concerned. Every player listed in a line-up can be selected in order to display his complete playing record at all clubs. Results and dates of games are available free of charge, subject to our terms and conditions. Match line-ups, attendances, scorers and player details require you to take out a daily or annual subscription. To subscribe, please Register if you have not already done so, then Subscribe, using the menu on the left.
