ghostofcecere
The real blame of course lies with the individuals causing the trouble. BUT, if they'd have given us the full 3600 seats and had them on an allocated basis I don't think no there would have been anywhere near as many in the home ends
oafc_lover
Incredible that they genuinely don't believe ANY of it was their fault. The Liverpool of League One as someone nicely put it on their board.
oafc-latics
If an Oldham fan wanted a ticket in the home end, they'd have got it. But if they made it all ticket for home fans then I'd imagine some of them wouldn't have bothered two trips to Spotland, might have reduced some trouble. Matt
TL;DR - it was the OAFC thugs wot done it

brierleys555
don't worry though as when you come to bp you won't even fill part of the rocky rd end
ghostofcecere
don't worry though as when you come to bp you won't even fill part of the rocky rd endI think the answer maybe to switch any future fixture from Spotland to BP and we can just give them the small section of the RRE? Roger Ritchie
If Rochdale knew how to scrap all this could have been avoided.

footy68
The problem occurred with dogdale idiots trying to beat up oldham fans celebrating goals. Yes the oldham fans shouldn't have been there, but what will happen when oldham rugby score a try there next season?

Ryan
Steady on. This was Rochdale's biggest league attendance in over 20 years. Make no mistake, this was a massive game for them. 9 arrests in over 7,000 people is absolutely nothing, there was a small amount of trouble and those responsible will no doubt be held accountable and punished for their moronic actions. It says: ...sadly a small number of individuals provoked unwelcome scenes, where the vast majority of supporters were well behaved and were trying to enjoy the atmosphere of a local derby. It also says both clubs would welcome any information from the majority of genuine supporters who may assist them in identifying offenders. GlossopLatic
The problem occurred with dogdale idiots trying to beat up oldham fans celebrating goals. Yes the oldham fans shouldn't have been there, but what will happen when oldham rugby score a try there next season? I have no sympathy whatsoever for any Oldham fans who went in the sandy lane end jumped up when we scored and promptly got twated. Nor do I have any sympathy for those who did the same at Stockport or Bury. Or any City Leeds Man U fans who have been in the home ends at Latics and proceeded to be on the end of a good kicking.
