Karl Robinson comments

"We had a game plan. If we can go on the front foot and play in their half we would dominate the game".

Any chance of LJ giving his players the same simple instruction against Crewe next week ?

Yes this is definitely the only thing he said to any of his players and they didn't even bother training this week.

Being tactically out manoeuvered by Karl Robinson is harder to take than the 7-0 scoreline

I don't think he bothered with tactics Singe, just a basic attacking formation and simply told them to get at us.

Yep, I agree.

A manager of a 3rd tier professional Football Club didnt bother with any of those fancy-dan Tactics and simply rilled them up with some stirring words and told them to simply 'get at 'um'.

Yep, that's what will have happened...

7-0 just isn't good enough Karl, just think of how much bigger the score would have been if you had played the diamond, the square, the oblong, 5 centre backs or 4 holding midfielders.

You must learn to be more theoretical, it's back to the drawing board for you or you will be punished accordingly. (We have the England job in mind for you)

That is exactly what they did and it worked. They pressed high up the pitch and defended from the front. Whereas we backed off, played our narrow game which invited MK to play with width and pace. On the few occasions that we found ourselves in possession, our forward movement was hesitant and ponderous. Confidence is totally gone at the moment and the statistics from the game paint a sorry picture - 5 shots, 0 corners in 94 minutes play.

Time for a complete tactical rethink Lee Johnson.
