There were a couple of signs with a "C" on them but it didn't register with me what they were. A quick check online when we arrived at Gillingham confirms a toll of £2.50 each way is due and payable online. https://www.gov.uk/pay-dartford-crossing-charge It would be very easy to forget this and end up with £140 in penalty charges. daniel Posted January 25, 2015 Share Posted January 25, 2015 They must be making an absolute fortune for this, i bet there's thousands who get fined as its not particularly clear that it's a toll, also didn't see many signs, a couple with a C on.
