Voted for by you, and based on the points system used for the past couple of years for OWTB Player of the Season, here's December's Player of the Month thread. Scoring is 4pts for MotM, 2pts for 2nd, 1pt for 3rd. What can you say? An absolute shocker of a month, starting with a second round FA Cup exit at the hands of Paul Dickov's Doncaster, which was followed by an absolute thrashing at home to struggling Yeovil and then a seven goal pasting at MK Dons. Latics signed off with another home defeat to Crewe, another side well down the league table. Latics registered just a single goal in December, conceding fourteen! Record: P4 W0 D0 L4 F1 A14 Man of the Match awards were: Doncaster (a) - Joseph Mills Yeovil (h) - Joseph Mills MK Dons (a) - Paddy Kenny(!)/Mike Jones Crewe (h) - Joseph Mills No surprise then that OWTB's Player of the Month for December is Joseph Mills. Just state my opinion on here,sometimes over and over People are actually saying Mills shouldnt play instead of Brown. jsslatic Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 I'll stand corrected but I thought the comments on the other thread about CB were that when Mills is back, he should stay in but I'd imagine at the expense of Brian Wilson as he's shifted to RB? I wasn't at Gillingham but from the Fleetwood performance wouldn't want him at LB unnecessarily - I thought his application was fantastic and he put a shift in but he did look very uncomfortable. Whenever called upon he rarely lets us down, there are other players who make more mistakes per game but nothing gets said. Only my opinion.
