Don't take ages maneuvering into a goalscoring position and don't be dispossessed so often - resulting in opposition breakaways with our defence caught out. Apart from that carry on with the good work rate. spot on with his negatives here... he does that all too often, cut out the manouveres and spend thT time striking the ball im convinced he'd have scored 4 or 5 more this season! There are many specific factors as mentioned in this thread but 0 points from Yeovil, Crewe and Gillingham is quite simply not acceptable. It was the predictable stumble of Saturday that was so galling. For all the negative thoughts though we are more than capable of taking 6 points from the next couple of games that would leave us comfortably in the top 10. Have the players got the character? And to be honest, most managers in most divisions seem to drag out the 'football cliche' handbook to get past the media interviews with as little impact as possible - and then presumably do their talking and actions behind closed doors. This season is about improvement and progression - which a 60+ point haul would be (and we are on target for that) and probably ensure a top half, even top 10 finish. The difference between that and a play-off berth is small margins come the end of the season - probably less than 8 points. Which is the odd game that goes for you / against you over the season. Knowone actually gives a damn when we win its only when we lose that the managers comments seem to be mentioned as if his post match interview can somehow change the result.
