Chaddy_Ender
We played our best football and had our best run with him up top.... Agree we went 6 unbeaten with him in the team, for me his best game was Swindon away caused them no end of problems, it just clicked goal wise in his final start lets hope he picks up where he left off. singe
Forte - carrying a long term injury AMS - out for two weeks? Murphy - hobbled off on Saturday Turner - coming back from serious injury Jacobs - not yet played for first team Bove - on loan So I make that three strikers... Come on LJ - get your finger out! To lose one is misfortune, two careless, to lose 6? Edited February 3, 2015 by singe

Dave_Og
"The striker, who hobbled off against Cheltenham on Saturday, My man says that he usually puts a real shift in every game and on Saturday he looked uninterested - they assumed he was going off so that he wouldn't be injured to protect his transfer value. NewBlue
http://www.viewsfromthesieve.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=855 Some Dagenham views on the player there. The reaction looks to me to be a similar one to if we sold Forte, maybe a bit more accepting. As for on Twitter: "Gutted to see Rhys Murphy go! But his injury prone and we get a bit of money for him so why not #daggers" "Rhys Murphy, Injury prone player, out of contract at the end of the season. Take the money and run #daggers #oafc" "Can't see any positives in getting rid of Murphy! When fully match fit he's a goalscorer which surely we need. Hope I'm wrong #daggers" "Very rapid and skilful with an eye for goal" "When Murphy is back in form he will score goals for fun. -Daggers fan" "He's quite loyal as well. He's rejected offers personally before from Peterborough and Barnsley" "Been out injured for 9 months but knows where the goal is when fit" "very good finisher, and quite quick, born offside though" Sounds unanimously agreeing he has real quality, but also has a problem with injuries, which is probably why we've been able to sign him. laticsrblue
Any one know what Murphy's injury last season was. Maybe we could alternate him with Forte so they both have a rest between games, or play one till he's injured while resting the other.
