robboman
Corney should've stuck the 200k on Johnson becoming the next Barnsley boss
mikejh45
OafcMetty....he wouldn't have been the first manager to resign.
steveoafc
Johnson obviously wanted out. In the chron article he said I'll leave it to the board to decide. He could have put all this to bed by saying I'm not interested. I don't want a manager here who's not 100% committed.
Clifford
He got 200k for a manager who's done nowt and wanted out. Well done I say.
singe
All those saying it's Corney's fault, please read Johnson's quote. It wasn't a case of wanting to leave Oldham because I loved my time there, but I wanted to progress and give myself the best opportunity to achieve."It is a great time for me to come here and hopefully achieve something special." He wanted to go. All the guff about up to the Board. Same as the Ched Evans statement from him. Again up to the Board. Spineless. Same as the Due Dilligence (remember it was not Barry that first used it) Same as " will not sign a player that will disrupt the team spirit" Anyone believes all that, then they have been played. He didn't want to leave, but he just couldn't help himself. Edited February 25, 2015 by singe

But yes, he has not achieved anything. And we have been too inconsistent to make the Top6. And he wanted out. So overall I agree, despite your sometime trolling, you are basically right on this. losesome
I wish every time something went wrong at BP we wouldn't start a - get stuffed SC campaign . The reason is simple whether you like it or not - without him we would be playing Stockport in league games now !!!!

Look at the side he kept us up with and where we where in the league, hardly the great escape was it?

RobOAFC
Is this a FACT? Well he could of sold us to the Vaughan family, they might of completely destroyed us like Chester or to Koukash, where we might be playing our football in Salford and being threatened with bailiffs.
