Matt Chambers just tweeted that these are the 'big name' players with contracts/options in the clubs favour until the end of next season and beyond: James Wilson Brian Wilson Joe Mills Liam Kelly Mike Jones Jonathan Forte (and another important one brewing) im hoping this ones Winchester, as i can't see any other player in the squad being an important one. I'd would be surprised if Forte and Kelly are still here too. And Brian Wilson isn't exactly getting rave reviews for his performances. In which case, let's not be negative.. let's think about if we are to sell 3 of our best players who are all contracted then we'll be coming out with enough £££ to put back into the squad, but I can't see all 3 going. I'm not trying to be negative. It would be great to build a squad around these players, as Chaddy_Ender says, but unrealistic if offers come in, which seems inevitable. At least if they're under contract we get a fee. However disclosed, or otherwise, it might be. If we've got players who are in demand then realistically the choices are to allow them to leave for free or to sell them. josh_latics Posted February 27, 2015 Share Posted February 27, 2015 (edited) I *think* contracts that are up this season are: Brown, Locky, Kusunga, Elokobi, Winchester, Turner, AMS, Truelove and Bove. And obviously loanees Wilko, Kean and Mellis. I think Forte's up, but we have an option to extend with him. Happy to be corrected though! Wilson I think will be off but like others said on his day he is top notch but those days have been coming less and less lately + he doesn't seem like he wants to be here really. Think he was banking on a move in Jan but that's purely speculation. Winchester NEEDS to be signed up and Matt C said there's another one brewing. It has to be him. Can't see him going Barnsley don't think he liked LJ Philly is contracted for another year at least I think which will please most...
