yes having myself been caught up in the queue for the main stand Gents at half-time it did not surprise me when he did not make it back onto the pitch before the full time whistle was blown.

Very bad queue first time I've used the toilet in the upper how can you only have 3 urinals for the full upper

Don't think it's anything to do with the pitch but it seems to be in the worse condition I have seen it for a while. From memory its generally in very good condition still at this stage of the season.

Although wait till you see the farmers field at Bradford!

From memory, 12 or 13 years ago they laid the semi artificial stitching in the turf at a cost of £500,000. Thats why its been so good in that time frame.

However, i also recall that that technology only has a lifespan of 10 years. That could be why the standard recently has fell dramatically.

Feel free to correct any errors but i dont think im far off

If we think this pitch isn't the best then wait 'til Bradford's.

Should've been docked points in my opinion. It's not conducive to playing professional football on and it gives the home side an unfair advantage.

At the risk of coming across all BP1960, it was fine for everyone until recent years. Before my time but if you look back at pitches from the 1970s/80s there are some absolute mudfields. We're at the end of March. The pitch doesn't need to be a carpet or anything close.

True the pitches back in the 70s were in the main terrible, not always the good old days.

This pitch has been very good, it just seems to have deteriorated quickly in the last few weeks.

No problem with it if all pitches in the league were that bad - there'd be no advantage. My problem is that theirs is the worst by a long, long stretch. It should be a level playing field across the league; good or bad, they should all be a similar standard, Bradford's comes up disgracefully short.

Intentionally as well, which is even worse.

Once the frosts come along and protective covers are on and off the pitch is bound to suffer, clearing snow off the pitch several times doesn't help either.

Taking into account our geographical position and it being the 2nd highest stadium above sea level in the country we have a great surface to play our football on.

But we had an advantage playing on a plastic pitch for however long...
