Were you or anybody you know one of the people involved in these "discussions with fans" about making our traditional home end the away end?

Please ask around at the match today.

I suspect, on top of everything else, the club are taking the piss with such a statement.

I'll be doing :censored: all with the information, or lack of, but I'm curious.

I'm hoping I'm wrong.....

I've already asked around a few and they've been asked nothing.

Went in the chaddy a couple of times this year which was my first time in there for nearly 10 years. One of the games, Preston I think, there were a couple of dudes walking round with a clipboard speaking to a few peeps - didn't come to us though,

People need to get a grip and come off the Autistic Spectrum - things change!!!

Slavery was once the norm and that was abolished.... Just like the Chaddy being the home section for many years.

Whether you like it or disagree with it the club have made a decision and they are not obliged to discuss it with anyone if they wish not too.

Have faith

The problem I have with this is that it does make good sense. It could be they licked their finger and stuck it in the air. It could be they did speak to some people. They didn't ask everyone but then as it is a sensible thing to do creating a family area and not having to ask anyone to move again and giving the away fans the worse facilities and so on. Why not try the OEC next season, Chaddy End, where you can shout at those nasty deprived away supporters.

You know a simple way to have consulted the fans would be for the turnstyle operator to ask "would you be willing to relocate to the RRE next season" with a tick box because Chaddy enders are the only ones who need to be consulted

Didnt they do that a few years back? Mustnt have given them the answers they wanted, so theyve taken this half arsed approach to manipulate the stats in their favour

And if they asked at the Preston game it was full of people who normally go in the RRE anyway but couldn't because Preston were in town.

Consultation isn't the same thing as decision making

It's testing the strength of opinion not a binding referendum.

Yes there are people opposed to it but, unless there was clear evidence that they would never attend again and that there wre lots of them, then I can't see why the club shouldn't. Make this decision.

I understand how some people feel - but many also feel it's the right thing to do or aren't bothered either way.

Why take a decision which might lose any fans? We are desperately short of them. I will still go next season, but I will not attend nearly as many games. I haven't missed any home games this season, but next season I will only be attending about 10 at a rough guess.

Bollocks. Now we are finally on the verge of getting back to 4 stands, something has to give. If its not the Chaddy, its the RRE. Its what the fan base as a whole want.

I remember back in the early 2000s and before when only the small section of the RRE was utilised. In reflection, that was a disgrace. The RRE is clearly the best superior stand and it wasn't being used properly...

I decided the Athletico's were ace months ago and I consider Topoff to be the Greatest Living Oldham fan.

Keep up.

Have you got wood chip wallpaper, though?

(I have. On the living room ceiling. Who puts wallpaper on the :censored:ing ceiling?)
