Press conference

Recommended Posts

Just had time to watch the Press Briefing on LP. My god that is the most tinpot, unprofessional thing I've seen.

The owner pissing about on his phone and putting it away like a school kid being told off as the other 3 clowns walk in, Barry Blatter sat there with his :censored:ing arms folded looking like a bulldog chewing a wasp and - although I like that it is short and sweet - it's the unveiling of our new manager and you can tell the club just wanted to get it out of the way quickly as they're embarrassed themselves by their idiotic appointment.

I thought exactly the same.

Few bits from the presser suggested not a clue. Neil Joys ref to "answering questions on football related matters." suggests the political element was know and concern.

The chaps and ladies is just Barry but needed avoiding when people looking in.... Sort of stuff outsiders jump on irrespective of support.

A broadcast where questions are inaudible by addition of an omnidirectional microphone from Maplins over road sorted.

Some noise like a 1960s projector? What is it.

Simon sat at desk as security contingent escort in Kelly and Joy??? Why was Barry on the top table. No disrespect intended but not needed.

Fiddling with phones etc.... nervous...

Kelly handled it very well in fairness....but the "prove people wrong" from SC also not needed.

It sounded as appointed a while back from ref to Holden working behind scenes for a few weeks after his appointment. Could have heard it wrong.

It was the usual siege mentality, basically.

SC seems a bit worn down with it all to me.

Understandable if he's been as thorough as he tells us & thought he was making a great, bold appointment only for the reaction to be even more extreme than last time.

Then again, maybe they were all just rough as :censored: from the previous evenings awards do. I still am.

I think the Evans thing was the final straw, last chance to make any serious money back.

This appointment, Chaddy End, nothing done with season ticket prices - all a big :censored: you to the supporters.
