philliggi Posted January 14, 2017 Share Posted January 14, 2017 1) Peter Shirtliff was there today and is mulling over his options of a return? 2) the old latics shop is now used as an office by a graphic designer who produces the latics programmes and other media, posters etc free of charge in return for free rent. It's the same guy who designed the new badge. Other than that it is pretty much how it is the day it closed, minus the counter. There was someone sat with Shez for most of the game, couldn't see who. I witnessed the dog's abuse he got when he returned with Barnsley I think anyone would have reacted. As for him leaving I was more pissed in '89 when he left for Leicester. No one batted an eye lid when we sacked him in 2009. He followed a good young manager in Johnson for probably more money and prospects. And the bung allegations? They're all at it...
