Course they have - it's the fundamental nature of the pyramid, plus the general level of interest in the game in general that has made the sport the most popular in the country, and out to the world. Kill the roots and the whole tree dies.

Lower league football survived as a professional sport before the TV and sponsor money came along.  Just about all the extra money ends up in the pockets of players.

..and the FA, who have built up Cash in the bank of £3 billion. Yes that is right. The FA have £3 billion in the bank.
