Compare the response to that incident from Bristol Rovers http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/club-statement-port-vale-3586150.aspx

To our own response when one of our fans was punched by a steward at Bury early last season http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/article/club-news-fan-behaviour-2696668.aspx

It is quite clear that some serious lack in common sense has happened. There is room for the Bristol fans down the front, (as apparent in the second video) but to have most of a stand cordoned off for no clear reason is asking for trouble.

I'm glad that there is a match-day official amongst those who were arrested, perhaps clubs will think twice about employing nightclub bouncers as football stewards.
