Why are you persisting in your ridiculous point of view? It is blindingly obvious that the higher the standard of outfield player the more demanding the role of keeper must be. As to whether shots are harder, I imagine that better players hit the ball optimally more often than their inferiors so although the odd shot in lower level football will be hit very hard that will be the case more often higher up. They will also be better timed, better placed etc. which will make them harder to keep out. Edited May 3, 2017 by Dave_Og

I don't have scientific evidence, or even stronger than that to get you to admit you are wrong. But I am willing to make an educated guess. I'll add in faster too, so quicker reactions needed. deyres42
Top flight games should be ending 10-10, every shot is harder, placed better and timed better.

deyres42
Every player is playing in the right level, there are no Championship players with more ability than in the Premier League, none better in L2 than Championship.
deyres42
Hypothetical question, put a De Gea or Lloris into our team, how many more goals would they have prevented?

jorvik_latic
I know it's highly unlikely that Ripley will be going out on loan again but on the slight chance he does, Motherwell have just signed a number 1 so doubt he'd go back there http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2017/06/06/carson-joins-from-pools/
