Peter Knowles of Wolves was the architect, and even after all this time I remember his brilliant display. I remember this didn't Wagstaffe score the goals against us? Knowles retired early to follow his religious beliefs as a JW I believe.

A far cry from some of today's so called superstars who haven't half his ability. His brother was perhaps more famous from the song 'Nice one Cyril'. Wee Bobby
In the 1st Wolves game ,Bebbington scored our 2 and Wolves fullback Thomson scored the equaliser. The very best player to grace our ground has to be Bobby Moore. No equal anywhere.
