  1. Past hour
  2. The European super league was one big power play by the big clubs to get more from UEFA they've got an expanded champions league. The cost of which appears to be degrade further the FA Cup
  3. Ask yourself this question and I'm sure many fan's like myself will do the same How in hells name did we ever end up from where we've been, with team's of player's who left everything on the pitch and more, up against sides league's above and taking them all the way, to this pathetic, roll over, can't be arsed natured entity of a club? We shouldn't be down here full stop and any acceptance of it is an insult to everything that went before, We need to be back in the football league as a matter of urgency, no more false dawn's, it needs doing and if manager's heads roll and player's get binned off in order to achieve this. Then so be it!
  4. I wonder how many haven't realised its a 12:15 kick off?
  5. He wasnt sacked at Dundee. He spent the second half of his season there under Covid lockdown restrictions so wanted to move closer to home
  6. Up in Manchester for a booze up tomorrow so taking the opportunity to get back to BP for the first time in ages. Quite looking forward to it. Miss the place.
  7. Yeah, why not. Quite enjoy an early kick off. Will probably leave when we're 2-0 down after 19 minutes.
  8. Let them clear off to to the European League they will eventually be in.
  9. Oh of course. Totally agree. They’re doing what they always do - looking after themselves and promising some trickle down for everyone else which either won’t come or won’t touch the sides.
  10. We used to complain about unprofessionalism when we banished unwanted 1st team squad members to train with the kids under AL…..
  11. I’ll be there… To get a refund for my Halifax ticket, then fucking off to do something that doesn’t make me want to cry.
  12. Today
  13. I realise that but it doesn't mean it's beneficial for the game as a whole and it's certainly no benefit to us.
  14. Referee: Bell, Elliot Assistant Referee: Taylor, Scott Assistant Referee: Henry, Scott Fourth Official: Lamb, Barry
  15. I bloody hope so…I couldn’t handle playing second fiddle to Rochdale!
  16. The statement I read didn't sound like they were throwing too much money at it. "A budget to give us a fighting chance of making the playoffs" was the main bit relating to football and doesn't scream the new Wrexham or Stockport (hopefully).
  17. Looks like the Sale of Rochdale to the Ogden family is set to be completed. From the media……. Amongst their other plans they are to establish "a new sports facility", to be used by the first team and academy, while they also pledged to mount a first-team budget befitting a promotion challenge for next season. *********************************** This season would have been a perfect opportunity for us to go up. The prospect of Southend and now Rochdale being in the mix makes it so much harder next season. I fear we could be down here for a while!
  18. A) we are ready as a club but from a footballing point of view we have little problem of getting the 11 men on the pitch to kick the round thing in the goal more than other 11 men. Depends what lessons are learned from it I'm hoping we do learn from this.
  19. Premier league teams want to reduce the number of fixtures that don’t make them money so they can increase the number that do. It’s not about anything other than that.
  20. Yes Tottenham and Newcastle have a friendly arranged on the 22nd of May out in Australia but they can't play FA Cup replays because of fixture congestion. For the record I'd be happy if at round 5 they scrapped replays but rounds 1 to 4 is hugely important for teams lower than the championship.
  21. We couldn't even be arsed with having a go in the FA Trophy so it's a bit rich the club moaning about a competition we'll do well to get to the third round in for some time. I'd have been happier with a statement in regards to the car crash shit show we've witnessed the last couple of months but each to their own.
  22. Which makes Mellon post Oxford a strange one, surely when he took the job he knew the state of the squad, it's okay him exiling half of them but they are still entitled to draw their wages.
  23. I think we have, 5th with nine games to play suggests we've bottled it as well.
