    Wow! 😲

I was at the game yesterday and I cannot help but think that one or two on here have it in for Maouche. Yes he didn’t have a great game yesterday but he was nowhere near as bad as some are making out.  With Woods, Wheater and Mills being the exceptions, the rest of the team were fairly average at best.

A poor performance resulting in defeat so let’s lump on the captain.

     😮

When you’re put in midfield to be the creative outlet you’re going to shoulder a lot of the criticism when the team shows no creativity.

Wanting the ball and trying things that just don’t come off, wouldn’t be criticised. This guy is completely disinterested for the large majority of games. Compare him to Mills who was always on the move and found himself in acres of space quite a few times, it’s night and day.

We’ve seen his ability so we all know it’s there, it’s just a complete lack of application.

Can you describe to me how it goes tits up? I am presuming you mean financially?

No idea, but I can’t imagine it’ll be pretty when the toys come out of the pram.

Give it 5 or 6 games of this season and the Lemmy fans will turn. That’s all most fans care about ultimately.

  3. Can’t believe you lot are even wasting your time on BB80. The guy massively disliked Corney, as many of us did, the difference is he disliked him so much, he’s letting it cloud his opinion of the new guy because he chucked a couple of statements out slagging off our past owners running of the club.

If he can’t see it now he’ll just have to wait until it goes completely tits up.

I'm sure we can afford 200k given how much we're skimping in other areas.

Like paying the Club Store manager a measley 20k a year.

Probably about par for the course, retail managers are underpaid full stop, even at companies that are raking it in. I can’t imagine this shop will make much money.

I agree with your over all point, but I wonder how many league one and two sides, have gone through on a 5th round replay in the last 20 years? Hardly any.

This will have little impact to small clubs IMO. However, if it moves further to round three, then that is a pisstake.

If we'd have gone to extra time against Everton the other year, we'd have been about 100x times more likely to win than in the replay, where we were always going to get done.

Just looked at Soccerbase to see when we last played this lot - 2016 so quite recent.

Then checked our recent record against them?! Not beaten them in 8 attempts at home, a certain late Richard Butcher winner the last time we took all three points.

I had in my head we had a horrendous home record against this lot. I don't think I've ever seen us beat them.

That cheap game at home a couple of seasons back sticks out, just off the back of a big home win.

As others have written, poor first half but better second. Baxter gave us a little more Invention. It is very evident though that Jose is carrying an injury and should probably not played as he will only have aggravated the problem. Two absolute world class saves from Iversen kept us in the game. They battled defensively but look what they are which is an inexperienced back four prone to making mistakes.

Given all the missing players, this is a poor team and a point was probably more than we deserved. Too many today seemed off the pace with O’Grady, Hunt, Missilou and Coke the main culprits.

And why oh why do we bring everyone back at corners and free kicks? Each time we clear the ball it comes straight back ?

First goalkeeper I've ever seen have to dive full length to save a shot in middle of his goal.

The annoying thing for me is the lack of clarity....if they said personal callers only I might be annoyed but at least I know that’s the situation......open sale suggests all usual channels and they even reference the phone number on the original update

i also think they should be more aware of fans and how fans think and communicate in this day and age....we all know that the FGR away capacity is 1076 according to their website so why do we only have 700? Will we get more? etc etc

basically its the usual amateurish operation of the club that is frustrating

I think, and I'm only speculating, they might be somewhat in the dark themselves on how many we're going to get. They're at the mercy of the home club when it comes to these things.

Forest Green are currently putting up a covered section in the away end that's expected to be finished next week. Maybe they're waiting for the green light on that before sending more?

Had we gone into this season with a genuine League One budget then we would have been at least play off favourites. We haven't so we're not.

This bunch under FB can excel or fail. That's about the top and bottom of it.

Agreed. Lot of its and buts when it comes to this squad.

Byrne rejected Peterborough due to location nothing more - DM the Peterborough chairman/ owner confirmed it on his twitter account. Nothing to do with staying to ‘help the club’.

He tweeted a couple of weeks ago we'd tried to flog them a player to no avail. Guessing that was Byrne but the ship had sailed for them.

Conveniently forgetting, Joe managed us to the 2nd Division Championship, a League Cup Final and 2 FA Cup Semi-Finals

All whilst playing the most exciting football in the Clubs history

    dec666 you're an absolute Doughnut !!

That was nearly 30 years ago, the game has moved on.

His recommendations over the last 10 years have been absolutely useless.
