Because of illness and travel I rarely have chance to get to Boundary Park. What a joy to see 2 good teams playing delightful football in an exciting end to end encounter. Some of the midfield play from both teams was an absolute delight. Maouche just shaded man of the match for me as he controlled the speed of attack and kept the ball better. His pass for the first goal was premiership quality. Nepo showed real class, Scilla put in a huge shift and Missilou not only broke up play but set attacks going and held the ball well. Great day out.

The liverpool 42000 was made up mainly of Liverpool fans. There was no segregation in those days so we were all together. The Goal that hit the post and bounced down and out was awarded against us by a referee srood in the centre circle. The Linesman also could never have seen if it crossed the line but they gave it anyway. Our dissallowed goal started with Bobby Johnstone as our player furthest foward as we were backs to the wall. He received the ball in our half of the centre circle and kept 2 liverpool players mesmerised. He then looked at Bert Lister who was still in our half and pointed to were he wanted to go. Lister was still inour half when Bobby sent this ballooning ball towards the right corner flag which bent till it was landing on the left side of the penalty area and straight on Lister's foot and into the net. We all went wild till the offside flag went up as the linesman obviously could not believe Lister had got so far clear without being offside. The Liverpool fans near me booed the referee of the pitch because they thought they should have beaten us without the incompetent referee.

The Roughyeds never paid a penny for using Boundary Park. That included us paying the turnstile attendants and catering staff.

I have been watching us since 1953. This is what it was like when the only reason we were not chucked out of the league was the number of Lancashire teams that voted for us so their travelling expenses were less.

I never mentioned the formation of the premier league. i meant this particular competition were the fans were consulted. . The fans said no. The PL offered more money and the clubs said yes.

I wish the myopic could look back and see how the football league clubs so easily succumbed to Premier League money against the wishes of their fans. It is only a matter of time and a new tv deal before they cave in again to B teams. I will not be at Wembley. I will not watch it on tv. When the inevitable b teams arrive I will boycott those matches.

My subscription has now run out. I will not be renewing as the price has increased considerably and I have missed far too many goals because it was not working. I am tired of that stupid and unmusical dirge and commentators being cut off in mid sentence at the end of the match. I am tired of the apologies for poor service.

The real problem is not shown on the video. Wright twice got away with elbowing Earl Barret in the face withina couple of minutes.Both were quite deliberate and sendings off. Earl was still seeing two of everything a moment later when Wright scored. At the end you can see Earl confronting him. He should not have been on the pitch to score.

Back on now but I have not got a full game all season so far. Rubbish service.

I want my commentary back

We seem to have a downer on Gerrard but from what I have seen this season it is Clarke who is the greater problem. Some very weak headers have turned into goals and his positioning has been suspect. The two best balls played into the box in open play came from Gerrard. For both it was harder to miss the goal but our forwards managed it.

How did we not pick this up in the medical?

So Timmy Taylor rather than deal with this person you have a go against all disabled people. Or maybe you are saying that this is rife as a problem. For many reasons including illness I am only able to attend a few matches a season but I can assure you there is no noticeable lack of people in the carers seats so maybe you are just trying to make a problem where there is none. The only person I have seen on his own is myself. On 2 occasions I was unable to fin d someone to act as carer. A friend who has a season ticket on both occasions took me in and then took his own seat in a different stand and came back for me at the end of the match. On these occasions carers were present for all the disabled,
