  1. Was going to say let's not put Smith in Redfearn's bracket. Aside from an icing on the cake penalty he also won more points and scored more goals for us in our Championship season than our entire defence and midfield put together this season.
  2. Thanks Prozac Just helps to remind a few United friends of mine that we were once a big player in our own way.
  3. Has anyone got any video footage of the goal (that never counted) against united in the 1990 semi? Can't seem to find it anywhere.
  4. Persuasion is a powerful little tool isn't it.....
  5. Good point that would keep her in nappies for 2 months. Maybe I can justify the Sheffield United match....
  6. Saying ':censored: off then' to someone you do not know, and know nothing about their situation doesn't come across as 'a genuinely nice person' to me.
  7. Sorry for choosing my family to spend my money on rather than latics at this stage in my life. Things may change in the future finance wise but at this point its bills and nappies for me. Sorry about that.
  8. Good point disjointed what people say on here won't impact totally on my decision but with homes games costing me over £70 with travel and ticket costs threads like this 'dont help'. As leeslover said people on here don' know other peoples situation. I look at £70 on a home game versus 400 nappies for my daughter. In very tough times thats how some fans have to look at whether they go or not. Thanks again O4U and I haven't lost the plot thank you. You are a very pleasant person aren't you.
  9. Haven't been to a home game this season and threads like this make it even more unlikely. Keep up the good work chaps BP crowds will be down to 2500 before you know it....
  10. Been thinking exactly the same. I know a few Everton fan's and they would hate the thought of united Away in the 6th.
  11. Yeah watching MK slide at the minute is good. On Paper and in an interview this guy would wipe the floor with anyone. His post match interviews are comedy gold. Some of the excuses he has come up with at North End have been enjoyable to watch when he isn't managing your club shall we say. My final word on this is I don't want him either but.... Let's see what he does when he leaves North End and gets a club with a much smaller budget.
  12. I am sure Simon would hate a guy that funds his own transfers....
  13. For the record I don't think he can manage Up North which would mean it wouldn't work for us either. All his contacts are Southern based and clearly hasn't managed to find similar options Up North or characters willing to do things the 'Westley Way'
