Another observation I made yesterday was the cross field passes McGahey made particularly to the right flank were outstanding. I also heard him on a few occasions constantly talking and encouraging.

If Reid had squared the chance from the left yesterday I don't think we would be questioning Norwood yesterday. I also think he will end up having a good partnership with Reid as on numerous occasions Reid made runs off the last man with only some timely interceptions cutting out Norwoods flick ons.

I think if that had been when Rhino was here we would have lost that game. It reminded me of the Halifax game at home last season when we lost to a dubious penalty and then struggled to create any chances. The difference was we came out better in the second half and created some good chances particularly down the left.

A proper ref and we win that at a canter. We need a proper wide man on the right and somebody please stop Gardner taking set pieces.

I think long term a partnership of Norwood and Reid would be the best way or even Willoughby as I think either would benefit from his clever hold up and layoffs. I think with a pacy partner it would also allow him a bit more space to work in.

He needs to play in a 2 with balls into the box. The reason for his frustration is lack of decent balls into the box which is meaning he comes into midfield or out wide looking for the ball.
