  1. The lad has potential, he'll never become a world beater but plenty of big lumps have forged a career out of....well, being big lumps.
  2. There needs to be. I honestly think we're 4 players short of a good squad, centre back, full back, winger and goal scorer.
  3. It's not just the football/results/price that puts people off going, it's everything else, the ground is a 3 sided, cold, depressing dump, the facilities are from the 19th century. I used to love going even when we were playing a pub team in 2004, losing to the likes of Torquay and Rushden, the match day experience was still there. These days it really feels like a chore to go.
  4. I'd donate, but I dropped £566 backing Spurs to beat Norwich last night, so finances are a bit tight.
  5. Any six figure sum is a great fee for him, I'd definitely accept.
  6. Dickov being the best thing since Royle surmises pretty well why we've stewed in LEague ONe for the past 15 years,.
  7. We've missed a trick here. Look at the turnaround he did for us, and now twice for Tranmere. Hoofball or not I don't think he'll have Tranmere scrapping for safety next season and like we have done this season. He's had Tranmere on playoff form since he took over, constrast that with our relegation form since January.
  8. A fit Pav is our best striker, not for goals but for his technical and hold up play. Pav's return last season, 13 goals was it? Isn't terrible considering he's not an out of out goal scorer and that he was injured for a large chunk of the season. Keep him fit for most of the season he should be getting 15 goals (he's capable of more), alongside a real goal scoring striker that amount would look more impressive considering the goals he'll create as well. Pawel alongside a Lee Hughes or a prime Beckett is a League One team's wet dream of a front partnership. I hope Dickov can bring in a goal scorer. I've read that this Jo Baxi guy is more of an attacking midfielder, an Ozil type player rather than an out and out striker.
  9. Indeed, he was quite highly rated at Liverpool before his incident. I don't like to say it but maybe he's not the player he was before the crash. Like it's taken something out of him. It sounded pretty damn bad. Two lads dead, another lad who was with Tranmere's reserves, Danny Moran, suffered severe brain damage, or so I read.
  10. Also heard a little whisper that we're signing a lad from Liverpool called Sean Highdale. Who was involved in a serious car crash which killed 2 people and injured 2 more a couple of years ago.
  11. Done deal? Source: http://www.cradlebay.co.uk/index.php/2010/...-friday-2-july/
  12. Or you could just do what most internet message board mods do and ban the troll. It's clear as day RA is not for real, he's gets everyone on here hook, line and sinker everytime. I dunno who he is, but he's someone who's sat at the other end of a computer laughing his ass off at the rise he gets from people. You're quick to delete and censor people's posts for minor reasons, but when a guy posts lie after lie after lie you're not willing to do anything, even though other members are complaining. I'm permanently banned from live chat for typing "GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!" in the last minutes of a match, a running joke I'd done since the start of the site, and I was banned on the strength of other user's "complaints". There's complaints in this thread about another user and now it's a case of "just ignore him"? It's horse crap.
  13. If they went into Tesco to buy sweets then they're pretty dumb. They could have got some off the stranger.
  14. Even with two stabbed legs he's too good for us. Think someone is pulling yer leg.
