What can Royle do? The manager is employed on contract, they have to stick with him and hope the summer brings about the change required. Me, I am not hopeful, given the state of contracts in place already etc. and along with the rest of us, powerless but to stand by and watch. Quite depressing really, given the lift the Rothwell's brought to the club when they saved it. Whatever is going or has gone wrong behind the scenes, we will probably never know but the Kidderminster fiasco appears to have been some kind of catalyst. Team will most likely finish in the same position as last season.

Although I am resigned to the playoffs being well beyond this current crock of shite, I kind of get your reasoning. I have a family which is diverse in team support, ranging from Newcastle to Liverpool, United, City and Barcelona as well as Birmingham. I am now getting the jibes about Latics shitting out of the playoffs. Not happy.

Stopped it half way through due to the depressing and monotonous same comments as previous. No confidence anything is going to change much in the near future and next season probably a rinse-repeat, possibly at the wrong end of the table because we certainly won't be anywhere near favourites to go up if this continues.

It's currently looking like it's not realistic to let the Royles nominate the ideal manager, either. Miracle required at BP close season otherwise it's possibly a groundhog day next season.
