We are completely void of any quality. The way we surrendered following going a goal down was identical to last season..... We haven't the commitment or the players to compete. Unless we bring in some quality, anywhere - i'd settle for a good centre half, a decent creative midfielder, or a striker capable of scoring ten this season. Questions will not be asked as our expections have fallen so low that dross like Saturday's shower of sh1t is now acceptable.

I'm afraid I can't see this potential that Reid is supposed to have. He looks compeltely disinterested in playing for us, and offers nothing. We need a propper striker signed ASAP.

We looked impotent up front, and I cannot see where goals are coming from this season. Before the start of the season I said we would go down, and I saw nothing yesterday to change that. I feel let down by the club at the lack of signings, and more so in the fact that we haven't made a single quality signing all summer. The midfield was simply dreadful, and Taylor aside, we haven't a single ounce of creativity within the team. We have nothing upfront as Reid is a liability, and again Taylor aside, there isn't a player in the team capable of scoring 10 goals this season. When we were two down, it looked depressingly like when we lost to Leeds under Penney, i.e. we seemed quite content with it. I'll stick to what I said last season, Dickov looks out of his depth, and without any financial support whatsover due to TTA giving up on us, its going to be a long miserable season.

Couldn't agree more. And no doubt he will join the long list of strikers who perform anywhere but here.

Except OMBC havent found any money to help. There are no ongoing projects or money put aside to help the football club from OMBC. Time will prove me right, however, if you have a source which contradicts this, please reveal this.

OMBC is absolutely skint, and it doesn't have any land with which to either give to the club, or engage in a substantial land swap with private land owners. Without private investment, the club is screwed as the local authority is in no position to help. At present, there are no projects within OMBC to consider alternative locations for latics.

If like some other clubs, we had a "hall of fame" where the best/most influential players are named, I would put Gregan on there. Immense for us.

I hope this isn't true - very very poor footballer. He reminds me of Guy Branston, full of mouth and absolutely nothing else with huge injury and discplinary problems. Would be a terrible signing, I genuinely hope he fails the medical.
