Exeter booked. Didn’t think I’d be saying that a few week ago. Start of the season I was well up for this fixture, then the events unfolded and I lost interest massively. Didn’t attend on Saturday despite being a season ticket holder. I ain’t renewing next year as it stands with the owners shenanigans (I know everyone has their own opinion on what’s best to do but I’ve decided to take a step back from home games and attend away) I went for drinks in town instead for a bank holiday thinking the game would be a bit of a dead rubber and we’d get rolled 2-0, ended up watching the second half in beer garden. If there’s one thing that will got fans back through door it’s winning football matches, let’s go and get in them bloody play offs!! Would love a good turn out against Northampton if we’re in with a shout.

I intended originally to get 200, and would close it after a week due to short period of time that the dissertation is due etc  Currently at 233 responses in less than a day. The more responses the better, I can then analyse the data and present back to the club if they wish to do so (which by all accounts they are up for). Cheers for your help Stevie, hopefully we can bump those numbers up. The data is widespread and very representative of our fan base already so all is looking positive.

Hi all, I am a third year undergraduate student, studying Sports Business & Coaching at UCFB. I was wondering if you would be able to assist me. I am currently working on my dissertation, which is looking into the relationship between Oldham Athletic Football Club and their supporters. The study is aimed at understanding the overall fan experience and to what extent the club engages with their supporters. For my dissertation, I was hoping to use the views of Oldham Athletic football supporters by collecting some primary data through questionnaires online. The data will then be gathered and thoroughly analysed to hopefully indicate recommendations for the club. Believe we’d take the same if we were sat in third. Even if points difference isn’t actually majorly different. If we had hopes of automatic promotion I think we’d take that number.

I think their home attendance has been much bigger than ours in recent years aswell.. might have dropped off in all fairness so couldn’t say with complete accuracy. i know Deyres doesn’t like people banging the away following drum but it’s one of the only things we can be ‘proud’ of in recent years. Even tho it’s not at our all time high, it’s fairly good going.
