  1. Jeez, some one woke up on the wrong side of the bed! 9 weeks til close of transfer window. Lots of players still out of contract to sign, in fact we are being proactive with some of those players by taking them on trial. If you are looking for multi million pound signings and a team full of world beaters along with rich oil benefactor owners, other larger north west clubs are available...
  2. Looks like the old 'Hillstone' one we had a few seasons ago. I think made by Carlotti.
  3. Looks like the old 'Hillstone' one we had a few seasons ago. I think made by Carlotti.
  4. Bove all the way for me, although we won't win any fair play awards...
  5. I'm sure I have read somewhere they will be worn by the players v Newcastle.
  6. None are true, agreed Clark is too expensive, don't want Douf as he is a prize turnip and Wes has gone. :censored:e, :censored:e abd more :censored:e
  7. Odd decision from Wes but, onwards and upwards. Good luck and will see you in a couple of seasons.
  8. In the scheme of cuntness, Steve Evans rates a solid 10, Piers Morgan a 9.5 and Joey has his own scale of uber :censored: with :censored: thown in for good messure.
  9. Friend of mine who I work with who goes most home and away games for Fleetwood says they usually have a reasonable away following for the size of. Promotion may increase their gate too.
  10. Just think Harkins is running out of steam a bit. Looked solid in the tackle for a self confessed non tackle backer (I'm coining that like bouncebackability) and some good passes. If he worked on his fitness he wouldn't be playing at league 1 level, put it that way.
  11. Good match, they looked lively but we policed them reasonably well. Great cross and finish for our goal. Got a good run going with the shoots of a good team emerging. In LJ we trust.
  12. Definitely keep Brown, Havn't been too sure about him prior to this season, however he has added a bit of an edge to his game, got himself injured in the process of humiliating Lee Hughes, a proformance which turned everything around for himself and after coming back from injury, has looked solid barring the odd little error. He can only improve further.
  13. Real shame this, looked solid when he did play most of the time. Never forget how mental he went when he scored against Posh. But as mentioned, we simply can't keep an injury prone player like GK on the books. Best to use that space and wage to better effect.
  14. Worried we won't keep Wes. By far our best player and feel there will be an orderly queue formed.
  15. Agree with O4U on this one. Throw back to the 80s. Totally unacceptable behaviour on both sides. It's a game, Oldham is a family club that I will start taking my young son to watch very soon. I don't want to have to run that gauntlet with him nor have to explain to him why that man is hitting that one because his team where calling the other names. Grow up.
  16. . I think more of an attitude out burst with difference of opinions more likely. However, if it has come to fisticuffs then JCH is daft. Constructive criticism is to be taken to improve the way you approach your work, regardless of whether it is constant or not. In my job I get observed and recommended I change things, but I wouldn't go out and punch my boss/ofsted!
  17. Definitely a step in the right direction for next season's squad. We may be moving down the road of having a consistent squad which hasn't done other smaller clubs in this league any harm. And JCH is a good player win win
  18. This is why I should never approach OWTB whilst a) drunk or hungover!
