  1. Let's see how January goes, we will get a pretty clear indication at the end of the month which way we are heading but the model they tried to implement initially under Shez now seems to be given full steam ahead. Personally I'm uncomfortable with it, I don't like the idea of AL's brother dictating player recruitment and tactics, going into the dressing room and generally undermining all three managers they've worked with, it's already led to one relegation and following that I'd thought they'd learnt some lessons - obviously not. It looks like the two brothers want to control every last aspect of the club and I personally think that's unhealthy, on the plus side it's out in the open now and they can be judged on results.
  2. It will be a nightmare to steward for sure and generally causes more problems than it solves. If they plan on enforcing it I wish them well.
  3. I know it was only a little cameo but he didn't appear short on confidence and the run out will do him the world of good, he was also warmly received and I suspect his family were proud as punch.
  4. Hopefully not, we've not sold the full 4500 so there should be room within that allocation for fans to sit where they want.
  5. So when it goes tits up next time he can be made directly responsible.
  6. He came on wide right so I suspect that's his preferred position.
  7. AL, Wellens, Shez all culpable and you can throw a few others in their as well, but AL unlike SC couldn't see we were going down until it was too late.
  8. Fucking hated Corney but even he didn't get us relegated, I really can't share the sentiment that he somehow has set higher standards because the situation we find ourselves in (in League 2) is largely down to his bad decisions, I know I'm cynical by nature but the sacking of Bunn now becomes clearer with the announcement of the Sporting Director and the flurry of new arrivals at the training ground, let's hope it doesn't undermine the good work Frankie did restoring team spirit and a feel good factor around the place, I know some won't share that view but this could quite easily go to rat shit especially if a renowned failure like Pressley is given the gig.
  9. 93rd minute winner (Chesterfield style) at Wembley in the playoff final against Bury would seal it.
  10. Keep seeing this but cannot agree, very thin on the ground upfront, O'Grady looked knackered/injured on Saturday, Benteke is injured and Surridge and Lang have returned to their respective parent clubs, I'd say he could well be missed.
  11. Mohamed Lemsagam - thoughts. Licence to interfere are mine.
  12. On the plus side if this lads any good the list of songs we can sing will be pretty comprehensive just replace the words Mo Salah with Mo Sylla - job done
  13. Fair assessment. Will be a club legend if he captains us to promotion.
  14. Valid points but there's no doubt the management merry go round at our club has prevented any of our younger lads from developing, we've had young loanee after young loanee come in at the expense of the likes of George only for them to be sent packing whilst George marks time, finally he's been given the run he needed and we are starting to reap the rewards.
  15. That would be a disaster of an appointment hated by both Coventry and Fleetwood fans and as dull as dishwater.
  16. Talking about Tarky here or Edmondson? Decent centrehalfs and young ones at that are thin on the ground and Edmondson has all the attributes to play at an higher level, most don't mature fully until their mid 20's both physically and mentally and he's steadily improving particularly with Clarke looking after him in games, these young defenders are going to have off games, even the more experienced ones like Lovren and Jones don't get everything right so mistakes will happen it's how they react and learn that's important, certainly wouldn't be giving him away for 200k in the current climate.
  17. They had absolutely nothing, not even heart. I was looking at them and thinking they had relegation written all over them.
  18. My preference would be Grayson whose out of work, done a solid job at most the clubs he's been.
  19. Everything your saying is good Bunn was responsible for, Wild has stepped in but he's a million miles away from getting that job on what he's done, there's no saying he couldn't be a success but in my opinion he'd soon get found out when things aren't going so well, that's when the decent managers earn their crust and I suspect it's pressure like no other. By all means keep him whilst we find the right man but going forward we need a decent manager with pedigree and know how in these lower leagues.
