The whole process is hit and miss and we are no exception. If RW fails, and I actually think he will succeed, it will not be because he hasn’t been backed by AL.

Because that happened in the first few minutes he was never going to get sent off. It is often like that in our division - players know they can take out an opposition playmaker In the first moments of the game and the refs are just to scared to produce the red card.

Better crosses into the box was what we needed most today though Edmondson without a older head like Clarke or Gerrard alongside him looks lost.

Thought he did well too, and personally I thought Gerrard was more at fault in the build up with being so slow and getting pulled out of position and still letting a cross in. However seeing as Relagation / Promotion is not on this year it would be great to give Edmondson an extended run in the team for him to fully develop as he could be a great first team automatic choice next season. Gerrard is not getting faster and frankly we need to replace him and Clarke for next season.
